Treasure Hunt dive trip
Hi Divers – On Saturday 21st October over the long Chulalongkorn weekend (which Monday is a Public
Holiday) we have a special Pattaya Treasure hunt dive trip with over 60 great prizes to be found, such as dive computers, dive masks, snorkels, dive knifes etc PADI and Dive supply has also put prizes up for grabs like dive equipment, tee-shirts, caps, etc We also have local restaurants who put meals and drinks up for prizes.
We will be running this trip from our 22 metre chartered dive boat so plenty of room to relax and eat between dives. The prizes will be given out at a local watering hole across the street from the dive center where you can have some cold beverages and snacks.
On the Treasure hunt we will be diving at one of the Pattaya dive sites, the current is slack so it should be easy to find the prizes. While you are searching the dive site you will find small vases with a number on them, the number will later match the prize. All prizes must go so at the local watering hole we will have a raffle for those that were not found. On the dives you will still see the marine life and usually much more because you are actually looking for the prizes so you get to see the smaller marine life that you would probably usually miss, you will also get to see the large hawksbill turtles on the dives.
You don’t have to be a certified diver to come on this Treasure hunt trip as we have Dive Instructors and Divemaster’s to help train and guide you, the max depth on the dives is 12 metres with most the prizes between the depths of 5 to 10 metres. Discover scuba divers, PADI Open water students probably the best course to be on is the PADI Advanced course where you complete navigation dives and search and recovery dives on the course. Snorkelers are also welcomed on the trip as there will be prizes in shallow depths as well on the boat (prizes on the boat are only for the snorkelers. Schedule for Saturday 21st October
We will meet at the dive center at 7.45am
8.15 am – Taxi to Bali Hai pier
10.30am – 1st Treasure hunt dive
11.45am – Lunch
1pm – 2nd Treasure hunt dive
2.45pm – Back at the pier.
3.15pm Back at the dive center.
There are water bucket showers on the boat and across the road from the dive center they have proper showers (20 Baht) so bring a towel if you want to wash the sea water off.
4pm – Prizes/snacks we provide – drinks will be at happy hour prices.
